ABOUT
C. Vernon Hartline, Jr. is one of the founding partners of Hartline, Dacus,
Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P. He practices in the Dallas office. Since
its launch in 1994, the firm has grown in both prominence and practice
scope, benefiting tremendously from Vernon’s leadership, reputation
and litigation achievements. Over the past several years, he has served
as senior editor of the Texas portion of “Tort Law Desk Reference” and “Business
Torts” published by Aspen Publishers.
Vernon has a wide range of trial expertise, including product liability
litigation, toxic torts, massive plant explosions, construction litigation,
patent defense, state and federal appeals, and general civil trial work.
Of particular note are his many successes in the automotive and tire industry,
which have led to the firm’s representation of several major manufacturers
on a regional and national basis. Before founding HDBDK, Mr. Hartline was
a partner in several additional major law firms in Texas.
