Larry Grayson is a founding Partner in the Dallas office of Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P. He has represented clients throughout the State of Texas in a variety of cases, including wrongful death suits, insurance coverage disputes, commercial disputes, product liability suits, dram shop litigation, wrongful termination and employment claims and general negligence actions. In additional to maintaining an active trial practice, he has served as the firm’s Managing Partner since 2001.

CASE EXPERIENCE

• Obtained a defense verdict for an automotive manufacturer in a case in which the Plaintiff had sustained a catastrophic brain injury and claimed defects in the vehicle's restraint system.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of an automotive manufacturer in a wrongful death case in which the Plaintiff alleged defects in the vehicle's roof strength and seat belts.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict for an automotive manufacturer in a wrongful death case alleging defects in the vehicle's door latch and restraint system.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a forklift manufacturer in a death case alleging defects in the forklift's control mechanism.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a truck manufacturer in a wrongful death case in which the Plaintiff alleged metallurgical defects in the vehicle's axle housing.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict for a crane manufacturer in a wrongful death/decapitation case.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a retailer in a dram shop/negligence action.
  
• Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of an employer in a wrongful termination suit.
  
• Successfully defended manufacturers and suppliers of products in toxic tort cases including asbestos, solvents, heavy metals, chemicals and paint.
  
• Successfully represented and obtained favorable results for manufacturers of skid steer loaders, bulldozers, press brakes, hoists, cranes and other kinds of industrial equipment.
  
• Successfully represented and obtained favorable results for automotive manufacturers on defect allegations including seats, seat belts, air bags, glazing, roof structure, axle fractures, door latches, wheels and tires, handling and stability and rollovers.
  
• Served as industry representative on various committees overseeing aspects of litigation in a toxic tort case involving in excess of 3,000 Plaintiffs and 500 Defendants.
