Giovanna C. Tarantino
ABOUT
Giovanna Tarantino is an associate in the Dallas office
of Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P. She was born August
31, 1978 in San Diego, California. She attended University of California
at San Diego where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with departmental
honors with recognition in her major of Management Science in 2000. She
then attended Baylor Law School from 2000 to 2003. During her time at Baylor,
Ms. Tarantino became a member of the Baylor Law Review and served as an
executive editor. She also earned the following awards and scholarships:
John W. Joyce Moot Court Award: Best Brief; Leighton B. Dawson Moot Court
Award: Best Brief; Benjamin Shelton Meredith Memorial Law School Scholarship;
Baylor Law Alumni Association Scholarship; Arthur H. Courtade Scholarship;
Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship; Sam Passarra Memorial Scholarship;
and William R. Trail Contracts Award. Upon graduation, Ms. Tarantino joined
HDBDK in 2003.
