Fred C. Huntsman
ABOUT
Fred Huntsman was born on December 25, 1978 in Topeka, Kansas. He attended Emporia State University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science in 2000. He then attended Baylor Law School from 2000 to 2003. During his time at Baylor, Mr. Huntsman became a member of the Baylor Law Review and served as an executive editor. He was a finalist in the Fall 2002 Harvey M. Richey moot court competition. Mr. Huntsman also worked as a clerk for the Baylor General Counsel’s office and was research assistant to Gerald Powell, the Abner V. McCall professor of evidence. Upon graduation, Fred Huntsman joined the Dallas office of Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P. in 2003.
CASE EXPERIENCE
- Practice focused on defending automobile manufacturers in complex product liability cases.
- Regularly represents Toyota and General Motors.
- Has represented Honda, Nissan, and Kia.
- Recently assisted in defending Toyota in a $100 million product liability suit in Walker County, Texas, which was tried to a complete defense verdict for Toyota.
