ABOUT

After graduating from law school, David Estes returned to his native Dallas to begin his legal career with the Dallas office of Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P.  David began his career representing automotive and heavy truck manufacturers in product liability and warranty litigation.  Since then, his practice scope has broadened to include the defense of clients in premises liability and asbestos, benzene and other toxic tort cases.  David also represents trucking carriers in litigation resulting from catastrophic accidents and devotes a portion of his practice to the representation of creditors in collections matters against individuals and entities.  David regularly appears in both state and federal courts.

CASE EXPERIENCE

  • Successfully defended a national grocery retailer at trial in a premises liability case.
  • Obtained dismissal of a case on the eve of trial for a highway tractor manufacturer in suit brought by multiple trucking companies for commercial losses.
  • Successfully represented creditors against individual and business debtors in collection matters, including probate and guardianship proceedings
