Wendy D. May
ABOUT
Wendy D. May is partner in the Dallas office of Hartline,
Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P., where she started her career
after graduating from law school in 1996. Her practice includes representation
of major automobile and tire manufacturers and suppliers, fall protection
equipment manufacturers, petrochemical manufacturers and suppliers, and
premises owners up to and through trial. She acts as national and
regional counsel for her clients, serving as counsel to date in at least
41 different states. She has repeatedly defended catastrophic injury
and death claims involving numerous defect allegations, including vehicle
seats, seat belts, air bags, tires, window glazing, roof structure, child
seats, general structural integrity and crashworthiness. She has
also successfully represented manufacturers and suppliers in toxic exposure
and product recall cases. Her repeated defense of these allegations
and study of related technical and medical documentation has given her
expertise in numerous vehicle components and petrochemicals as well as
in injury mechanisms and occupant kinematics. Her base of technical
knowledge has and continues to help her successfully and efficiently defend
her clients. Mrs. May grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas and now lives in
a suburb of Dallas with her husband and three children.
